Although this was suppose to be one of the happiest days of their lives, the Bride and Groom couldn't help but feel very sad and emotional. Daniel had just returned from serving a full term in Afghanistan returning to a very happpy and commited Brittany. Unfortunately, there would be one member of the wedding party whom wouldn't make it back to for the wedding. One of Daniel's lifelong best friends and fellow soldier was killed while serving in Afghanistan. Daniel would be short not only a groomsman on his special day, but a best friend as well. 100 guests arrived at the Delta Pavilion to watch Daniel and Brittany proclaim their love for one another. The Bridesmaid dresses were black and they held red rose bouquets. The Groom and Groomsmen were dressed in their official dress blues and those that weren't soldiers were in black and white traditional tuxedos. At the Reception located in the Magnolia Ballroom, the couple had a beautiful white and black cake, a holographic light shown on the dance floor with the couple's names, and their band mixed a DJ turn table with actual musicians; a drummer, guitarist, and a saxaphonist. A picture of the fallen soldier/groomsmen was placed just behind the head table in honor and rememberence of him. This was a very emotional and heart felt Celebration.
